The college essay can be the deciding factor in your acceptance to a college. Rising seniors, are you struggling to find the right topic?

Come to the J.V. Fletcher Library, 50 Main St., Westford, at 7 p.m. to brainstorm ideas. The discussion will be led by journalist Joyce Pellino Crane. Using sample essays Crane will show you how to begin and organize your story. She will discuss how to add tension to keep the reader interested, how to move the story forward to demonstrate emotional growth, and how to end it on a serendipitous note. This event is for rising seniors only.
